DRI CANADA - Award of Excellence Program
2012 Award of Excellence
Celebrating 6 Years!
Great news!
Given that some organizations are currently dealing with higher priority issues at year end, DRI CANADA is extending the timeline for the Award of Excellence application to January 20, 2012.
Our Awards of Excellence application is simple to complete. Take the short time required to submit the Award of Excellence nomination so that you can be selected to move to the evaluation stage. The evaluation stage will be conducted next year.
We are told by our previous Award of Excellence Winners that the evaluation stage is very worthwhile in determining your readiness to meet crisis events. It is an exceptional and completely cost free way to illustrate to management your organization's continuity planning strengths and weaknesses.
Take advantage of this opportunity to highlight and be recognized for the Business Continuity planning achievements.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the DRI CANADA Award Administrator by calling 1-888-728-DRIC (3742) or writing to awards@dri.ca.

Message From the President
Dear Continuity Management Professional:
As the Program Chair of the Disaster Recovery Institute CANADA, Award of Excellence Program, I would like to acknowledge the success of the DRI CANADA Award of Excellence for the past years and it is with great excitement that I invite you to take part in the DRI Canada Award of Excellence for 2012. As you are aware, this award recognizes organizations that have achieved a certain level of excellence in the fields of Continuity Management, Technology Recovery (DR), and Crisis Management.
All of us are keenly aware of the challenges associated with building a successful Continuity Management program and we strongly believe that as the leading Continuity Management training and certification organization in Canada, we should recognize and celebrate excellence in our profession.
To assure a fair and unbiased assessment for all applicants, DRI CANADA has established an independent Award Committee and Evaluation Team that includes industry experts with years of practical experience. The presentation of the DRI CANADA Award of Excellence will be held during the World Conference on Disaster Management in June 2012 or other suitable venue.
We are very pleased to bring this award to our profession again for 2012 and look forward to reading your submission.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the DRI CANADA Award Administrator by calling 1-888-728-DRIC (3742) or writing to awards@dri.ca.
Sincerely,
Mary Genyk, CBCP
